المركزية – أكد مسؤول في الخارجية الاميركية بشأن المحادثات اللبنانية–الإسرائيلية التي ستُعقد في روما، أنّنا انتقلنا إلى مرحلة تنفيذ الإطار، مشيرًا إلى أنّ محادثات روما ستجري ضمن جلسة نقاش مغلقة تُمكّن الحكومتين من تسليم زمام الأمور إلى فرق فنية ستعمل على جميع القضايا المحددة في الإطار.
وأضاف: سيتم إطلاق المنطقة التجريبية الأولى خلال أيام، ويجري حاليًا تحديد وتخطيط مناطق تجريبية أخرى، فيما تُنسّق القيادة المركزية الأميركية مع كلا البلدين للمضي قدمًا.
وختم المسؤول الأميركي بالقول: سنبدأ قريبًا بالتواصل مع الشركاء الدوليين لمساعدة الحكومة اللبنانية على استعادة سيادتها بشكل فعّال في هذه المناطق وفي مختلف أنحاء البلاد.
US official on the Lebanese Israeli talks in Rome :
•We have moved to the implementation stage of the Framework.
•Rome is a closed discussion that will enable the governments to hand off to technical teams, which will work on all issues outlined in the Framework.
•The first pilot zone will launch in a matter of days, and further pilot zones are being mapped out and planned. CENTCOM is coordinating with both countries to move forward.
•We will soon begin outreach to international partners to help the Lebanese Government effectively restore sovereignty in these zones and across their country more broadly.
